Tom Jefferson from Oxford, is the lead author of the definitive Cochrane review proving face masks don’t work. “Physical interventions to interrupt or reduce the spread of acute respiratory viruses” found that wearing masks in the community makes no difference to influenza-like or covid-19-like illness transmission.

This comes after three years of mandating the use of face masks in the community. The WHO continues advising “anyone in a crowded, enclosed, or poorly ventilated space” to wear a mask.

Jefferson looked at the evidence for social distancing, hand washing, and sanitizing/sterilizing surfaces -- in total, 78 randomized trials. Please print that article and drop it off at the office of anyone who attempted to make you wear a mask. (Checking in, did you actually do this?)
